Cilantro Jalapeno Hummus

Try out this variation on a classic dip that’s sure to please any crowd. Dip into this spicy hummus with sliced bell peppers, celery, or pita chips and enjoy!

Serving Information

Makes Approximately 1 ½ Cups


  • 1 - 15 oz can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 2 T tahini
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 T olive oil, additional as needed for desired consistency
  • Juice from ½ a lime
  • ½ jalapeno, seeds removed for a more mild dip
  • 1 cup cilantro, stems removed
  • Salt and Pepper to taste


  1. Combine chickpeas, tahini, garlic, olive oil, lime, and jalapeno in food processor until well combined.
  2. Pulse in cilantro until just combined and season with salt and pepper. Adjust other ingredients as desired.
  3. Transfer to serving dish and get to dipping!
